Campaign for the Danish Alzheimer Association

Art direction and animations for five short films

In a world where approximately 50 million people grapple with dementia, communication becomes a barrier that often separates individuals from their loved ones.

The goal for the campaign for the Danish Alzheimer Association was to empower families and friends with knowledge on how to communicate with their nearest and dearest.

The campaign consisted of five animated short films, tailored for webpages and Instagram.

The viewer is invited into the life of a daughter whose father lives with dementia – and follows her on the journey to reconnect with her father.

The red half circle and purple heart from the Dementia Friend logo was incorporated in the design of the two characters in the films. This works as a reference to the Alzheimer Association.

Kattens Media produced the five short films in collaboration with Communication Advisor and Brand Strategist Louise Mejdal-Neertoft.

The music is specially composed by Lars Buch.
