Kattens Media has created numerous corporate publications for the Danish Immigration Service. In this particular guide, the letters of the term ‘user communication’ (‘brugerkommunikation’ in Danish) shape the pattern on the front page.
Each letter has a different typeface, symbolizing the diversity of the Immigration Service’s users. Transforming the different letters into a pattern makes them all belong and make sense together.
The colours and typefaces in the guide derives from the Ministry’s design manual.
The pattern design was inspired by piece of wood discovered a block away from the office.
